My client one of the largest semiconductor companies in the world are looking to add Sensor Technology Characterisation Engineer to their existing team.

This is a unique and will deal with merging optical & electrical characterization disciplines, liaising with the Technology and product design groups to ensure solutions are robust and delivered in a time critical environment. You will work in collaboration with other European sites and deliver robust solutions, excellent documentation skills are a must as these need to be repeatable and reliable in mass production environments.
Key responsibilities include:
• Plan, develop and implement characterisation techniques.
• Automation involving scripting for extraction of performance parameters.
• Provide device and technology characterisation data to support decision making required to drive forward technology development.

We are looking for experienced engineers, It is essential you have the following:
• 1st Class Honours or higher degree(Electronics, Electrical engineering or Physics)
• Working knowledge of semiconductor devices, silicon products and device measurement.
• Demonstrable programming skills( high level languages or scripting C/C++/Matalab)
• Software instrument interfacing and control.
• Understanding of optics and camera systems.
• Understanding of database structures and competence in database system setup.
In addition you will have excellent communication and team working skills; it would also be advantageous if you had any exposure to software development skills and understanding of design methodologies.
