Project Manager & Junior PM

Description:

Large Banking & Financial Services organisation - 4 x PROJECT MANAGERS REQUIRED, (2 x Junior PM / 2 x Senior PM) - Hove/ Brighton based.
Role Requirement/ Scope:

Experienced Project Manager & Junior Project Manager required with a strong Banking/Financial Services background to act as a workstream lead on a major programme
The successful candidate(s) will be accountable for the following;


- Control, manage and monitor project timescales and budgets
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of project deliverables and managing risks and identifying counter measures
- Support creation of relevant testing plans, analysis and design of testing requirements and delivery of quality driven test solutions, ensuring conformance to agreed standards and objectives.
- Support the delivery phase of high risk projects, ensuring delivery to agreed business objectives, requirements, schedules, costs and quality objectives, ensuring that the benefits identified in the business case are realised.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s books of instructions, standards and reporting requirements together with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Establish, control, manage and monitor project timescales and budgets
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of project deliverables by own team, sub-contractors and suppliers, assessing and managing risks and identifying counter measures
- Manage and undertake the creation of relevant testing plans, analysis and design of testing requirements and delivery of quality driven test solutions, ensuring conformance to agreed standards and objectives.
- Manage, co-ordinate and contribute to the design, development and specification of new/re-designed processes and systems, documentation, training materials, etc., as required in order to contribute to business efficiency goals.
- Manage or undertake the delivery phase of high risk projects regardless of size, ensuring delivery to agreed business objectives, requirements, schedules, costs and quality objectives, ensuring that the benefits identified in the business case are realised.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s books of instructions, standards and reporting requirements together with all regulatory and statutory requirements.

-Strong previous Project Management skills within a Business Change setting
-Strong stakeholder management skills
-Strong delivery experience
-experience within Banking Operational areas
-Able to manage teams & stakeholders with a mixture of technical and Business focused staff
-Prince2 qualified
