Role: Investment Manager
Salary: £30000-£40000 + excellent benefits

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Private Investment Manager in the South East Scotland and Dumfries and Galloway area. As a Private Investment Manager you will; Proactively build and develop a portfolio of clients, providing advice upon a broad range of financial matters. Be customer obsessive by exceeding customer's expectations through quality and timeliness of service by providing an excellent customer experience. Support colleagues in the development of the business, providing appropriate coaching of the Financial Planners within the Area / region.
Requirements:
• To proactively build and develop a relationship with clients.
Identify, understand and help customers by competently and effectively dealing with customers changing needs.
Maximise the level of wealth management services and cross selling opportunities in a compliant manner.
•Work with business stakeholders to obtain referrals from new business opportunities and existing client base in a compliant manner in order to achieve business growth objectives (number of new clients, income, and funds introduced into investment portfolios and to increase deposit/lending book) as agreed with the Area Manager.
• To identify customer needs and facilitate the provision of services either directly or by introduction to other appropriate parts of the group, delivering products and services that are fit for purpose.
Provide customers with timely and accurate information to enable them to make informed decisions regarding their choice of products and services
Seek feedback from customers and following customer reviews, act on this.
Responsibilities:
• Positive responses to a broad cross-section of client satisfaction surveys – including minimum number of complaints/breaches of regulatory requirements.
• The ability to impress clients and other team members with a broad knowledge/understanding of financial services and products.
• To be interested and show an understanding of national/international financial affairs.
• The number of referrals, and retention of clients in line with business plan and personal targets.
The Individual: The successful candidate will have,
• Highly developed relationship skills and previous success in a selling/lead generation role, in a regulated environment.
• Successful experience of working closely with a cross section of high net worth customers.
• Demonstrates helpful banking behaviours
• Highly knowledgeable about financial services/products in the market place – particularly investment, wealth management and banking.
• A mature and self-confident nature who can interact well with people of influence.
• Attained IAC / CFP or equivalent and working towards QCF level 4 qualification.
• Achieved CF 21 status
