Equal Opportunities Policy
RZ aims to be an equal opportunity employer and has a policy for this purpose. Our recruitment policy ensures that its recruitment practices comply with anti-discrimination and harassment legislation.
It is the policy of RZ to recruit the best person for each vacancy, both internally and externally, for its end clients irrespective of colour, race, nationality, religion, ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, marital status or age from October 1 2006. Employment decisions will be based on merit, qualifications, skills, ability and potential.
To ensure that this policy is operating effectively (and for no other purpose) the company, etc maintains records of employees’ and applicants' racial origins, gender and disability.
Ongoing monitoring and regular analysis of such records provide the basis for appropriate action to eliminate unlawful, direct and indirect discrimination and promote equality of opportunities.
RZ can monitor applicants both internally and externally for end client use, by asking applicants to complete an Equal Opportunities form. Results can be then collated once selection has taken place to monitor the success rate of the Equal Opportunities Policy.
In terms of internal career opportunities, RZ hopes that all employees will have the opportunity for promotion although this will depend on individual skills, experience and abilities, as well as RZ's specific needs.
A copy of the policy in detail is available from the HR department.
